日立执行役会长兼CEO东原敏昭:日立将继续大力发展在华事业

过去的2021年,世纪疫情与国际变局持续交织,我国“两个一百年”奋斗目标历史交汇,中国与世界在激荡中复苏,企业和个人在磨砺中前行。


这一年,在中国,许多行业与企业迎接着全新的发展机遇和行业趋势;这一年,为中国,世界500强与行业领先企业的商业领袖们变中求新、变中求进,深耕中国,携手共进,共创未来。


今年的“CDF之声”栏目邀请参会代表分享过去一年来自己与所领导的企业、所在行业的经历以及他们的感悟。


今天做客“CDF之声”的日立制作所执行役会长兼CEO东原敏昭


东原敏昭认为,受新冠肺炎疫情的影响,人们的生活需求和生活方式急剧转变,环保意识也在逐步提高。


在不断变化的环境下,日立专注于为构建可持续发展的社会,致力于实现碳中和、ESG等级达到世界前列,并对此设定目标2021年,日立作为首家日本企业成为第26届联合国气候变化大会(COP26)的主要合作伙伴,并且参加了“奔向零碳”的活动。


日立旨在2030年之前在工厂和办公室实现碳中和,2050年之前在包括生产活动、采购、产品和服务使用在内的公司整体价值链中实现碳中和。在中国,日立也会通过融合创新的产品和解决方案,强化相关举措。


最后,东原敏昭表达了对中国发展高层论坛的感谢和祝福,祝愿致力于解决社会课题的全球化合作能够得到进一步发展。

大家好!我是日立制作所执行役会长兼CEO东原敏昭。本次受邀参加中国发展高层论坛,我感到十分荣幸。


中国发展高层论坛是理解中国发展方向的重要窗口,是中国与世界进行友好交流、加深相互理解和强化互惠关系的重要平台。日立一直以来非常重视本论坛,今年有幸第十次参加。


日立自1910年创业以来,在100多年的发展历程中,始终秉承“通过优秀的自主技术及产品开发贡献于社会”的理念,在IT、能源、产业・流通系统、电梯・铁路系统、医疗健康・家电和汽车系统等广泛领域提供相应的数字技术和产品,在全球范围内开展事业活动。


在中国,日立于1979年成立了北京办事处,此后40多年来,日立一直重视在中国的事业发展。目前,在中国拥有144家集团企业,正式员工约5.2万人,中国市场的销售额达到621亿人民币,占日立全球销售额的12%,中国是日立集团最重要的海外市场之一。


今后,日立也将继续致力于解决各种社会课题,大力发展在华事业。


当前社会正在发生巨大的变化。受COVID-19的影响,人们的生活需求和生活方式急剧转变,环保意识也在逐步提高。在不断变化的环境下,我们专注于为构建可持续发展的社会而不断创造价值。


日立致力于实现碳中和及ESG等级达到世界前列。2021年,日立作为首家日本企业成为第26届联合国气候变化大会(COP26)的主要合作伙伴,并且参加了“奔向零碳”的活动。日立将发挥绿色技术和数字化方面的优势,肩负起“气候变化领域的创新者”这一角色。


日立设定了目标,旨在2030年之前在工厂和办公室实现碳中和,2050年之前在包括生产活动、采购、产品和服务使用在内的公司整体价值链中实现碳中和。在中国,我们通过融合创新的产品和解决方案,强化相关举措。

Hello, everyone. I am Toshiaki Higashihara from Hitachi Group. It is a great honor to be invited to the China Development Forum.


I recognize that this forum is an important gateway to understanding the direction of China’s development. At the same time, it serves as a crucial platform for promoting friendly exchange between China and the rest of the world to deepen mutual understanding and strengthen the mutually beneficial relationship. Hitachi has always placed importance on this forum, and we are proud that this year marks the 10th round of our participation.


Since its establishment in 1910, Hitachi Group has been operating its businesses globally for more than a century through the provision of digital technology and products in areas including IT, energy, industrial and distribution systems, elevator and railroad systems, healthcare and home appliances, and automotive device systems based on the mission of “Contribute to society through the development of superior, original technology and products.”


In China, for more than 40 years since the Beijing office was set up in 1979, we have been maintaining focus on our businesses in the country. Today, China has become one of the key overseas markets of Hitachi with 144 companies, about 52,000 employees and a sales amount of 62.1 billion yuan, which accounts for 12% of our total sales.


Going forward, we hope to continue our efforts to value our businesses in China and achieve sustainable development from the viewpoint of resolving social issues. 


Our society is now undergoing drastic changes. The outbreak of COVID-19 has brought about a dramatic shift in our everyday needs and lifestyles. At the same time, it has also heightened the awareness toward protection of the environment. For us, we will devote efforts to creating values that help to build a sustainable society amid this ever-changing environment.


Hitachi is committed to materializing carbon neutrality and achieving a world-class level in ESG performance. In 2021, Hitachi was the first Japanese company to be appointed as a COP26 principal partner, and we also took part in the “Race to Zero Campaign.” By leveraging our strengths in the green technology and digital innovations, we will take up the role as an “innovator in the field of climate change.”


Hitachi has set the goal to realize carbon neutrality at all Hitachi factories and offices worldwide by 2030, and throughout the entire value chain, including our production activities, procurement, and use of products and services by 2050. In China, we will also step up efforts in relation to this goal through a combination of innovative products and solutions. 


Hitachi will enhance social, environmental, and economic values through our businesses, and continue to implement initiatives that focus on improving people’s QoL as well as the value of our client companies. In addition, with “digital, environment and innovation” as the drivers, we will work toward achieving our growth and making contributions to the society.


Last but not least, I would like to express my gratitude to the China Development Forum for its efforts and contributions to promoting exchanges and cooperation among the enterprises and organizations from different parts of the world. I hereby wish for the success of the forum, as well as further progress in global collaboration for resolving social issues.
